    The Senior Product Line Manager is the "CEO of their products," leading the vision and lifecycle within their Product Line for sustainable, profitable growth, striving for leadership in their markets. Prioritizing customers' and product requirements, defining the product vision, analyzing target markets (market segmentations), and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, production/manufacturing and marketing to ensure that the product aligns with the company's overarching strategy and objectives. You will directly manage 1 product engineer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with customers, suppliers, engineers, manufacturers, marketers, salesman, training, and channel partners

    • Define the product line (and product's within) vision, manage the offering as a portfolio of new concepts, new products, steady state core products (with improvement plans where applicable), and retirements

    • Collaborate closely with your Product Line peers and cross-functional teams to ensure the products align with the company's overall strategy and objectives

    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of Product Line as well as competitive products in identified market segment to support Sales Teams

    • Train the Sales Teams on existing and new products to deliver the product/service message - features, benefits, applications, and positioning

    • Develop product and application presentations customized for customers as requested by the Sales Teams

    • Participate in account planning and strategic selling activities in partnership with the Sales Teams to secure technical approval and/or acceptance of the products

    • Develop, implement, and measure ROI of incentive programs

    • Develop and initiate the marketing deliverables needed to drive product line demand to meet revenue and margin goals

    • Work with MARCOM team to develop: product branding, social campaigns, & marketing collateral including presentation material, videos, product brochures and solution documents

    • Monitor and train on competing products and perform feature/functionality reviews

    • Work with partners and suppliers to understand new product initiatives and suggest new features applicable to the intended market

    • Identify and develop your product line roadmap, new product development, Continuous Product Improvements and retirements.

    • Develop MRS (Marketing Requirement Specification) and champion throughout the cross-functional NPD (New Product Development) process.

    • Determine market price levels and prepare winning pricing strategies. Responsible for pricing analysis and price list proposals.

    • Track the progress of the product line within the assigned segment, including profit and loss.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, STEM field, or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Minimum 3 years of Industrial or commericial Product Line Management experience

    • Hands on experience with similar construction industry tools, hardware and equipment is desired

    • Complete understanding of B2B marketing processes in an industrial environment

    • Knowledge of construction or industrial products, applications, and market segment solutions

    • Demonstrated ability to use financial models to understand margins, costs and create scenarios models

    • Investment analysis using DCF models

    • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical techniques and make sound recommendations and judgments from analysis

    • Availability to travel up to 20% (overnight)

    BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually . This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
