    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (Level M) to join our Structures Operations team in North Charleston , South Carolina !

    The Procurement Manager will lead a team supporting both Enterprise level initiatives and support Supply Chain by implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, developing and executing integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.

    This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Manages Procurement Agent employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.

    • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.

    • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.

    • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

    • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes, and related tools.

    • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

    • 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes

    • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

    • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvements

    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 10+ years of experience leading managers, Procurement Agents, Supply Chain Analyst and Contracts

    • 10+ years of experience working in a management or leadership role

    • 10+ years of experience leading supply chain operations?

    Summary pay range: $174,600 - $213,400
