The team you will be a part of
The Project Management team manages all aspects of a large scale and complex project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing a project; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems, minimize delays. Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete the project.
This role in summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations to lead our strategic projects and new product launches. This role will oversee a team of project managers, driving cross-functional initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and ensure execution of new product introductions. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership skills, an understanding of supply chain operations, and a passion for delivering solutions that meet business goals.
Your responsibilities will include
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Project Management Oversight: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring effective planning, execution, and completion of supply chain initiatives.
New Product Launches: Oversee end-to-end supply chain readiness for new product introductions, ensuring on-time delivery and integration into operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders, including Planning, Logistics, GPO, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Product Marketing to align project goals and drive organizational success.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance, cost efficiency, and risk management.
Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and metrics to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to support multiple concurrent projects.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in supply chain operations, project management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and product development.
Preferred skills and experiences
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated success in launching new products or leading strategic supply chain initiatives.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decision-making.
A collaborative and adaptable leader with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
