    Position SummaryJoin Fortune 7 CVS Health as the Senior Manager Application Developmentposition within the Claims Payment, Products, and Financial organization. This Senior Management positions is responsible for helping lead an organization that drives $ 140B in financial processing, EOB data, and claims reporting and manage a portion of over 25 applications across mainframe, cloud, and distributed assets. As an Applications Development Senior Manager, you will successfully manage both full-time employees and contracted resources to help execute IT project work within the organization at CVS Health. In this role you will Manage a portion of strategic applications that could include aspects of Aetna Products and Payment Systems, Claim Reporting System, Claim Book of Record or Overpayment Tracking. Leading a selection of these teams would include all aspects of the development lifecycle including production support and management of related staff.Responsibilities

    • Lead a group of diverse and Self-Directed team of Technical Leads, Programmers, Business Analysts, Testing Analysist and Managed Services Employees

    • Coordinate all administrative items including time tracking, required training, and performance reviews/vendor feedback

    • Support multiple product lines including Commercial, Medicare, IFP, Medicaid, AGB, Aetna Student Health and Third party along with various business units involved in Service Operations and Finance

    • Insure and manage the quality of deliverables and work to make sure all risks are mitigated before moving to production

    • Coordinate the Planning, scheduling, release and financials of a project and work requests that come in as intake to the Claim Payment, Products and Financials Domain assigned

    • Facilitate and support an Agile Development Methodology and Product based models

    • Collaborate with Managed Services Team and serve as a point of Escalation for issues/concerns related to Managed Services

    Required Qualifications

    • 7+ years Information Technology related experience

    • 7+ years direct experience with Mainframe technologies; Cobol, JCL, CICS, etc

    • 3+ Years leading development teams focused on Mainframe and distributed systems

    • Experience driving mainframe transformation

    • 3+ years responding to Product Support needs

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Kanban

    • 3+ years in Management of Personnel

    • 4+ Years in large complex healthcare organization

    • Experience in Payer financial\Reimbursement space

    • Release Management procedures experience

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is

    $124,372.50 - $247,200.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
