Senior Full Stack Developer- Hybrid- Top Secret

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

This is a high visibility project at FBI with a lot of data integrity and analysis. The data analysis directly impacts to the national security. The Senior Full Stack Developer is part of a small agile development team that will work to develop and maintain applications. The senior developer will be working in an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development.

The position is located in Huntsville, AL and will primarily on-site, but the customer may grant up to 50% remote work based on mission need.

Here's what you'll need :

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field

• 8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).

• Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.

• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability

• Experience with API - Spark, Scala and Databricks

• Services (enrichments) - Java, Spring and Rest Services

• Experience with Elastic Search

• AWS Cloud development/Dev Ops support

• Experience with Linux

• Experience developing in an agile environment

• Strong oral and written communication skills

Clearance Required

• Active Top Secret

Preferred

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience with Gitlab

• Experience in develop an application utilizing microservices
