    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in deploying complex networks, and strong communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Building and deploying complex networks and systems

    • Provisioning, configuring, and deploying Linux and Windows servers

    • Applying patches and fixes to remediate identified vulnerabilities

    • Troubleshooting issues that arise from the system

    • Developing new and innovative ways for our team to improve our performance and product offerings

    Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of either Windows or Linux operating systems (both is preferred)

    • Strong scripting skills

    • Understanding of the OSI model and standard network protocols

    • Subnetting, DNS, encryption technologies and standards, VPNs, VLANs, VoIP, etc.

    • Previous

      experience with automated deployment and provisioning tools

    • Demonstrated understanding of system engineering processes and the role that information security

      has to

      play in those processes

    Preferred Skills

    • Salt, Puppet, Foreman

    • Experience deploying VMWare solutions

    • Configuring network routers, switches, firewalls, etc.

    • Windows and Linux hardening

    • On-call

      availability

    • Applicants selected must be able to obtain and

      maintain

      a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is

      required

    Education

    • Relevant college degree plus two years of experience, or five years of relevant experience
