    The Senior Director, Sales Management plays a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and executing it within the assigned geography and/or market. This position involves leading and coaching a high-performing sales team, exemplifying desired sales behaviors and skills. The Sales Management provides expert guidance, support, oversight, and leadership to ensure the team's success in achieving sales targets and goals.

    As a Senior Director, Sales Management at Avanade, you will work closely with Business Developers to create and implement sales strategies and operational plans. You will coach and support sellers in various aspects, including deal coaching, skills coaching, and career coaching. Additionally, you will assist in program oversight, design and improve sales tools, support sellers in account planning, and contribute to prioritizing account opportunities. You will also manage client pipelines, facilitate knowledge sharing, and ensure compliance with sales processes and regulations. Together we do what matters.

    What you will do

    • Develop regional, territory, and market sales strategies and operational plans.

    • Coach sellers in deal coaching, skills coaching, and career coaching.

    • Assist in account planning, territory planning, and sales management.

    • Design and improve tools for forecasting sales and managing pipelines.

    • Support sellers in creating standard account plans for clients.

    • Prioritize account opportunities to maximize win rates.

    • Ensure compliance with sales processes, policies, and regulations.

    Skills and experiences

    • Solid understanding of market potential and competition; able to contribute to strategic planning.

    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with partners and customers.

    • Comfortable with clients and develops business relationships.

    • Passionate about selling IT projects and solutions.

    • Strong commercial, delivery, and project and program management skills.
