    We are seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Data Strategy and Architecture to develop and evangelize Intel's enterprise data strategy, both within and outside the company. This leader will play a pivotal role in defining our data strategy, technologies, and usage guardrails, as well as establishing end-to-end architectural standards while incorporating best practices. They will coordinate heavily across significant transformation programs and influence core data technology recommendations, serving as an evangelist for Intel's data and analytics journey.

    Key Responsibilities

    As the Senior Director of Enterprise Data Strategy and Architecture, you will lead the charge in defining and ratifying the enterprise data strategy and build out the supporting roadmap considering industry trends and business transformations with deep collaboration across our partner organizations. This role is responsible for:

    • Develop Intel's Enterprise Data Strategy and roadmap through partnering with data executives across data governance, data quality, data modeling, data architecture, master data management, and analytics including defining technologies and usage guardrails.

    • Collaborating closely with business senior leadership to align data initiatives with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring that data supports and accelerates strategic goals.

    • Work across partner organizations to ensure alignment and ratification of the enterprise data strategy & roadmap.

    • Evaluates the technology landscape and business portfolio toidentify opportunities for realizing strategic value.

    • Aligns strategy, business processes and key business outcomes with executive and senior business unit leaders to deliver value in the form of solutions, services and support business organizations and users.

    • Drive the adoption of data best practices and promote a data-informed culture across the enterprise.

    • Ensures compliance with Intel's data architectural principles and data governance policies and provides expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall data architecture.

    • Identify, prioritize and drive data-related POCs to quickly demonstrate art of the possible, solve problems and drive business value

    • Facilitate collaboration between Corporate Data & Insights team and stakeholders to drive datacentric decision-making.

    • Collaborate with IT to ensure that strategy and roadmap support a robust data infrastructure that supports the organization's strategic goals.

    • Promote a culture of data driven experimentation and innovation within the organization.

    • Evaluate and work with data executives to manage relationships with external data vendors, service providers, and technology partners to enhance the organizations data capabilities.

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the data strategy and its impact on business outcomes.

    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance data literacy across the organization.

    • Act as an advocate for the value of data and analytics, inspiring others to leverage data for competitive advantage.

    • Own the comprehensive set of guardrails to be followed related to data architecture and technology and manage waivers.

    • Ownership of data architectural review board to ensure that standards are being followed and align to the strategy.

    • Ensure that the data architecture is scalable, reliable, and capable of handling current and future potential workloads.

    Qualifications

    Education/Credentials:

    -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, or Business). A Master's degree is preferred.

    -Extensive experience in data architecture with a minimum of 20 years in a leadership position.

    Knowledge/Experience

    -Exceptional understanding of data architecture principles and best practices in the newest technologies

    -Proven expertise in data tools and methodologies across all data disciplines (quality, governance, warehouse, data lake, BI, etc)

    -Deep knowledge of data management software and tools (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools, data modeling tools).

    -Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

    Inside this Business Group

    Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

    Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $219,352.00-$351,256.00

    *Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

    Working Model

    This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
