  • As a Copywriter Writer you will partner with our Sponsor Marketing squads in Individual Insurance Canada to build marketing campaigns from concept to delivery across a variety of channels. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and informative content and creative that aligns with the Manulife brand and the target audiences of our sponsor clients. You will work closely with our cross functional Agile squad team members, marketing, and product to develop and execute user-tested and validated campaign strategies that help drive business results. This is a digitally-focused fast-paced, changing environment where every day brings something new, and innovative ideas are encouraged!

    As a Content Creator/Writer you will:

    • Develop and execute content and copy that aligns with campaign objectives and strategies, including lead generation, retention, up sell/cross sell, winback, loyalty and awareness programs.

    • Create high-quality, engaging and informative content for online and offline channels, including but not limited to integrated multi-tactic campaigns, emails, e-newsletters, B2B and B2C videos, articles, social media and blog posts, print ads, direct mail campaigns and more.

    • Deliver a consistently high quality of creative concept/copy and marketing ideas and approaches

    • Use SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines where applicable.

    • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as page views, engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversions to drive business results and help inform future strategies

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.

    • 4+ years of experience in content creation.

    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

    • Positive relationship and team-building skills with growth mind set

    • Experience in Human Centered Design Thinking is an asset

    • Experience in the financial services and insurance sector an asset

    • Critical/Analytical skills and ability to draw actionable insights to make data driven decision making

    • Experience with social media marketing, email marketing, SEO and other digital marketing channels

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

    Salary range is expected to be between

    $70,350.00 CAD - $117,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
