    Position Summary:

    The ALLDATA Copywriter will be a key member of the Marketing Team responsible for writing and creating content used across all Marketing initiatives that is on point with Brand and Content Strategy. This individual will excel at writing copy that educates our prospective customers on ALLDATA products, drives SEO and moves prospects through the customer journey; identifies with the automotive industry and the ability to clearly communicate product benefits while keeping a conversational, helpful and relevant tone. This role is responsible for the strategy and creation of the Brand Voice that will be the basis of every communication.

    Position Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned:

    • Follow and hone the ALLDATA brand voice (with Content Marketing Manager)

    • Develop effective and compelling content that reflects the ALLDATA brand voice

    • Follow the brand voice style guide to increase production efficiency and rate of content output

    • Write, proofread and edit for all marketing channels: website, emails, Press Releases, Advertising, Social Media, White Papers, surveys, collateral, video scripts, Newsletters, Webinars, internal communications.

    • Write to improve inbound marketing and website performance (with the SEO Manager and Lead-Gen Manager)

    • Gain solid understanding about the ALLDATA customer, the ALLDATA products and apply to daily work

    Position Requirements:

    • B.A. degree or equivalent experience

    • 5+ years real-work fulltime experience with copywriting and editing

    • Experience in creating a brand voice, content strategy and/or voice guidelines

    • Experience in writing for an eCommerce site, demonstrates best practices for SEO/SEM

    • Experience working in an in-house creative environment or agency

    • Preferred: experience in the automotive industry

    • Preferred: experience writing technical and informational articles within the automotive or related industry

    • Advanced writing, grammar, spelling, editing and English skills with a creative flair

    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

    • Ability to understand the advantages of software technology and develop copy that concisely explains the benefits to the appropriate consumer

    • Understands the mentality of the "maker" - someone who works with their hands

    • Ability to visualize how every copywriting project connects to the overall content strategy

    • Highly efficient at producing work, meets deadlines and keeps others informed of work plans and progress toward goals

    • Clearly conveys and accurately receives information by a variety of methods and in various situations. Takes and gives constructive feedback.

    • Works well within fun yet focused marketing team environment

    • Works well with cross-functional teams

    • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize

    • Preferred: Ability to write helpful automotive articles that support our tagline of "Automotive Intelligence"

    • Preferred: Interest in the automotive industry

    Salary: $62,900 - 105,000

    Compensation Range (USD): MIN 62900.0 - MID 84000.0 - MAX 105000.0
