The Opportunity:
Join WSP's expanding water & wastewater team as we're looking for an Intermediate Construction Site Inspector to carry out field review work during the construction of municipal infrastructure!
With major existing projects and new project development, we are looking to expand our Infrastructure team in the greater Toronto area as you will be doing mostly field work supporting our clients within the GTA!

What you can expect to do here:
You will conduct field reviews and QA inspections
You will maintain daily logs of contractor activities
You will ensure timely and accurate inspection completion
You will participate and guide start-up and commissioning & testing activities
You will report extra work requirements, also document and assess work deficiencies
You will verify use of approved materials and adherence to specifications and ensure compliance with legal, environmental and safety standards
You will be acting as a brand ambassador and represent WSP on-site.
You will be driving to various GTA project sites
What you'll bring to WSP:
Engineering Diploma or Technology/Technical Degree
A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in site inspection of wastewater treatment, pumping stations, installation of watermains, force mains and sewer mains.
Knowledge of working on City of Toronto projects is an asset.
Good understanding of OPSS and Municipal standards and procedures
Experience utilizing relevant Computer software e.g., MS Word, Excel, PDF markup and Windows applications
Experience with and knowledge of the CCDC is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
This position requires use of personal vehicle in good working order to be used often for purpose of commuting.
