Description:

Markon is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to support a DoD client in a largescale construction project.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Commissioning Manager oversees and ensures the successful execution of commissioning activities across all project phases, providing expert program management and technical leadership.

• Serve as the Commissioning Authority (CxA) throughout all project phases, including pre-design, design, construction, TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) verification, functional performance testing, and final reporting.

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

• Apply extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including design, construction, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Lead testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) activities, with expertise in building automation and temperature control systems.

• Identify and resolve operational issues to optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.

• Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Extensive experience with HVAC systems and commissioning processes, including a strong background in technical and operational troubleshooting.

• 15 years of relevant experience

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

This role is critical for ensuring that complex building systems meet performance standards and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality assurance.

Salary Range:
USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
