Senior BIM Coordinator

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior BIM Coordinator for our New York, New York office location. Be involved in projects with our Buildings Structures Division and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. In this role, you will lead the integration and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) within structural projects, ensuring that project objectives are met through effective model management and collaboration. This position will serve as a key technical resource, supporting project teams and fostering strong BIM practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Impact

• Lead BIM coordination efforts for structural projects, ensuring the seamless integration of models and data.

• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.

• Act as the primary BIM resource for team members and clients, addressing technical issues and optimizing BIM processes for project success.

• Leads projects in regards to the technical team.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in BIM coordination within structural projects, with a strong grasp of BIM standards and processes.

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software, along with experience in model management, clash detection, and project coordination.

• Demonstrated expertise in structural-focused BIM workflows, with the ability to drive project success through effective model coordination and communication.

• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.

• Demonstrated high-level of self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale or complex projects, especially within a multidisciplinary environment.

• Knowledge of Dynamo scripting and custom workflows to enhance BIM productivity and quality.

• Familiarity with structural analysis tools and integration of BIM data for structural engineering applications. Expected Salary: $103,100- $139,100
