Job Description
As a member of the Benefits organization, your focus is to support U.S. employees and their families by answering benefits related inquiries. This involves answering inquiries and escalations to the Oracle Benefits Portal via email and telephone on a broad array of benefit plans, eligibility, and enrollment systems. The Oracle Benefits team takes pride in providing personalized service to the large U.S. population of about 70,000 employees and their families.
The Senior Benefits Specialist spends the majority of their time answering benefits inquiries from employees via written email. You will also have phone/zoom conversations with employees regarding benefits questions, if needed. Other responsibilities can include:
day to day administration activities such as providing data and reports to payroll, finance and outside vendors
managing projects
assisting with implementation of new programs
leading or assisting in informational webinars such as new hire orientation and program overviews

Has knowledge of benefits programs; for example, medical/vision/dental plans, 401(k), Affordable Care Act Reform, ERISA, ADA, Workplace accommodations, FMLA and disability programs

Will work with confidential employee medical information, therefore HIPAA guidelines must be adhered to
Demonstrates ability to learn new and often complex business systems quickly and effectively

Demonstrates proficiency with e-mail, Word, Excel, Internet and the ability to learn other systems
Required: Three to five years of benefits experience - employee facing and administration
Advanced knowledge of excel
Experience in Benefits reports; such as, enrollment data, payroll reporting, and
compliance reporting preferred
Skilled at explaining and presenting benefits information one on one to individuals, in live presentations and webinars to employees
B.A. or B.S. - Human Resources or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Outstanding written communication skills
Excellent listener and can ask good questions so as to learn customer needs
Takes initiative and uses all available resources
Excellent research and problem solving skills
Effectively manages time and priorities to meet service levels
Self-motivated, focused, and driven to achieve goals

Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
