    Position Summary

    As the Senior Analyst (SA) on the Rebate Cash Team, you provide support for day-to-day trade financial processes to ensure financial targets (collection, reconciliations) are achieved in an accurate, timely, and complete manner. This role will allow you to review reconciliation comments on collections and distribution. You will also provide ongoing directed feedback to ensure the validity of the transactions and proactively communicate for escalation of issues. You will support reserve processes including coordinating, reviewing, and understanding analyst updates to communicate and compile results to outside groups including senior management and Finance.

    You will accomplish this by this:

    • Conducting routine in-depth analyses of rebate collections from pharmaceutical manufacturers and downstream distribution to PBM members.

    • Addressing ad-hoc requests from various areas of the organization.

    • Validating end-to-end processing of financial transactions to ensure system alignment.

    • Documenting findings from internal and external audits and resulting actions to ensure transparency and SOX compliance.

    • Distributing cyclical reporting to senior leadership, including but not limited to payment timeline forecasts, daily distribution activity and collection actuals against FP&A forecasting.

    • Administering and tracking late fee invoices and subsequent communications to ensure prompt payment within contract terms.

    • Coordinating with team members to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement.

    • Identifies opportunities for streamlining financial workflows, automating manual processes, or implementing new financial systems or technologies.

    In this role you will be an integral member of the Rebate Cash Team. This team is responsible for providing analytical insight on rebate payments, distributions, and reconciliation activities. You will collaborate with various internal partners including Invoicing, Accounting, Reconciliation, Auditors, FP&A, and external partners such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. Your contributions will help drive value for our clients by reducing their overall drug spend. Our organization is focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, simple, and seamless.     Required Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of financial or analytical experience

    • At least 3 years of advanced MS Excel experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a financial role utilizing SAP Accounting systems.

    • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    • Experience with contract administration, financial and / or data analysis, data-mining, cash reconciliations, and complex processes is beneficial.

    • PBM or pharmaceutical manufacturer experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical products preferred.

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience; degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, or Economics preferred.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is

    $43,700.00 - $107,200.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
