You'll manage purchase orders, payments, and pricing negotiations with precision under general guidance. Analyze data to influence pricing decisions and prepare impactful RFPs to expand our client portfolio.

Monitor contract performance, coordinate deliveries with suppliers, and maintain strong relationships within specific commodities. Collaborate across Operations Excellence, Supplier Quality, and Engineering for streamlined procurement and delivery assurance.

What You Will Do

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.

• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization's best interest.

• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.

• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts.

• Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.

• Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.

• Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost.

• Performs delivery assurance responsibilities.

• Interacts with multiple organizations including Operations Excellence focals, Supplier Quality focals, and Engineering.

What You Will Learn

• Learn to execute essential procurement processes, including handling RFPs (Request for Proposals), negotiation preparations, and conducting cost analyses.

• Decision-making based on cost-benefit analysis and market insights.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: ~~~- (~~~) C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer

• Previous experience working in the aerospace industry

• Supply Chain or Procurement experience

• Experience as project leader managing scope, schedule and budget for engineering activities

• SAP and Tableau experience

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
