Description:
As a Senior Account Executive, you will represent Accord in all interactions with both internal and external customers. This includes initiating and maintaining long-term relationships with various functional groups at assigned and developed accounts. You will work with Accord team members within company policies and guidelines in a focused way to serve customers satisfactorily and profitably. The ability to work with little guidance and/or direction is essential.
Candidate will need to reside in one of the following states: IL, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA

Responsibilities & Duties
- Be a primary day-to-day commercial point of contact for any account assignments.
- Develop and implement systems, touchpoints, reports, guidelines, and processes to keep customer business organized and performing as needed.
- Coordinate and update tailored presentation material(s) encompassing all Accord capabilities.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively identify and research potential leads through various sources, including online research, social media, and industry-specific databases.
- Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other communication methods.
- Develop regular reports and communications with customers on critical business metrics.
- Know and understand customer requirements and needs and support internal teams with this information.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with customer service to ensure the best customer experience.
- Coordinate Accord resources (i.e., marketing, technical, operations, graphics, customer service) to provide value-added services and support to accounts.
- Use CRM and ERP (Epicor) as core tools of the position.
- Provide or coordinate technical assistance in resolving issues with Accord cartons at customer plants as needed.
- Support the needs of Accord internal stakeholders, plant and operational leaders, customer service team, demand and capacity planning team and finance team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five or more years of demonstrated sales, customer service or related experience, preferably in folding carton segment or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Excel and working with spreadsheets, pricing matrices, specification documents, and online bidding portals.
- Strong understanding of equipment and technology profiles, capabilities, metrics, and carton production process.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Comfort with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and influence outcomes with Senior Level Leadership.
- Demonstrated knowledge of company services/products/capabilities.
- Proficiency in running meetings and formal presentations.
