Security/Reception Officer (multiple openings in two locations)

Location: Johnston, RI, East Providence, RI

Pay Range: 20.00/hr

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security/Reception Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Qualifications:

No experience necessary - we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry if you don't have previous experience. If you have retail, customer service, food service, or hospitality industry experience you could be a great fit.

• Excellent observational skills and ability to respond calmly in stressful situations.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical, law enforcement and security teams.

• Commitment to safety and ethical conduct, following all relevant policies and procedures.

• 1+ years of security experience preferred (will consider candidates with no previous security experience)

• 2+ years of customer service experience required

• Law enforcement or military experience a big plus

• Familiarity with security systems, radios, and alarm system a big plus

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, equivalent or above

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English

• Access to reliable transportation and communication
