    A successful Security & Smart Home Sales Advisor will have sales acumen and technical aptitude, be able to build rapport, influence homeowners, have a competitive mindset, be a good listener, achieve sales goals, and ensure customer satisfaction. This full-time position sits in our Ellettsville, Indiana, headquarters. This role is responsible for helping to grow our residential security offerings across Indiana.

    RESPONSIBILITIES



    Selling Activities 

    • Performing full-cycle sales using our consultative, solution-based selling methods

    • Proactively responding to inbound leads and generating outbound prospects from our house list

    • Answering 10-20 inbound daily phone calls, ranging from prospect inquiries to product information, quotes, contracting, and customer follow-up

    • Responding to 20-40 emails per day

    • Setting follow-up appointments with prospective customers and executing those commitments at the appropriate times

    Product Knowledge

    • Maintaining an expert level of product knowledge about existing products and future products

    • Educating our prospective customers about the features of our product and the benefits of our services


    Pipeline Management

    • Accurately inputting data into the CRM tool to track daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to manage a predictable and reliable sales pipeline

    • Consistently performing at a high level, meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals

    • Consistently achieving a quota to ensure sales goals and objectives

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma/GED required; higher education degree preferred. 

    • A minimum of one year’s experience demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, with a track record of generating new leads and closing deals.

    • Proficient in using CRM tools to organize and track customer interactions, manage pipelines, and forecast sales.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting sales strategies or tactics as needed.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.

    • Experience working cross-functionally with various departments to achieve shared objectives and support customers.
