Job Description
- Active secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in IT or related field
- One of the following certifications: M365E/X, VCP, CCNP, LPIC or Linux- 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering or similar type role, implementing and troubleshooting IT systems, hardware/software, and systems design
- 5+ years of experience in a management role, leading teams of engineers on multiple projects
- Strong experience in implementing and troubleshooting a Virtualized Windows server environment
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL, DNS, DHCP and PKI

Skills and Requirements
- Top secret clearance
- Experience with any F5 BIG-IP product or an F5 certification (i.e., LTM, GTM, APM)
- Certifications: F5, CCNP, VCP, SCCM, SQL Server, ITIL V3, SNIA, MCEM, LPIC, Linux+, Red Hat
- Engineering-level expertise with VMWare ESXi, VMWare Horizon VDI
- OSI patching with MECM, Device alerting and monitoring using Nagios
- Experience working engineering projects during a data center consolidation, particularly V2V migrations from Hyper-V to ESXi An employer is looking for a HYBRID Secret Engineering & Operations Manager in the D.C. area. This person will act as an escalation manager for on-call and after-hours staff, with the ability to escalate accordingly. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of team members and work with individuals on improvement areas, as well as supporting personal and professional development goals. Oversee activities on the Operations and Engineering teams to keep projects moving along on time. Provide remote and on-site support until incidents are resolved and utilize root cause analysis and mitigation analysis. Configure and manage Group Policy (GPO settings, application to OUs and deployment). SQL Database maintenance, upgrades, configuration and system performance tuning. Provide assistance in Datacenter consolidation projects and integrations (Hyper-V with ESXi). Oversee creating, maintenance, and troubleshooting for VMWare ThinApps, Microsoft Remote Application, and Microsoft APP-V applications. Follow change management processes and contribute to documentation repository. Deploy and support customer facing peripheral device infrastructure (Zero/This Client Management). Troubleshoot and minotr the health of ADFS and Web Proxy servers that provide authentication for Office 365 and the ADFS sever. null
