    We are seeking a highly skilled SEC Reporting Manager to join our team in Bay Area, California. The role is 100% remote. This role is in the biotech industry and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. The SEC Reporting Manager will work closely with the finance team and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and manage the company's reporting to the SEC

    • Prepare and file external financial reports, including annual and quarterly reports

    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports

    • Conduct financial research, analysis, and reporting

    • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and applicable laws

    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with established procedures

    • Implement improvements to reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

    • Coordinate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting

    • Use software for report preparation

    • Manage the processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.

    Requirements - Proficiency in BlackLine, CyberSource, EPS, ERP Solutions, and FDM software systems.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting functions and auditing.

    • Experience with compliance, corporate disclosures, and documentation.

    • Proven ability to manage SEC reporting processes.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure situations.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.

    • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

    • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

    • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
