  • We are hiring a Scrum Master to join our team in Madison, WI on a hybrid basis!

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

    • Help the team in defining, reporting, and meeting their goals.

    • Visualize team progress in achieving product outcomes.

    • Embrace continuous improvement of Agile events/practices by teaching new techniques to the team.

    • Create and maintain an atmosphere of safety and trust through facilitation of retrospectives and feedback exchange among Agile team members.

    • Remove impediments to the team's progress.

    • Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality through leading by example and serving others.

    • Help the team to develop high-value products.

    • Partner with the Product Owner to pull work from a prioritized feature roadmap that is represented in an ordered epic/feature/sprint backlog.

    • Facilitate and coach the processes of work decomposition, dependency management, and backlog management in and out of Agile teams.

    • Support the Product Owner to ensure that the vision, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the team.

    • Promote and support Agile values and principles throughout the organization.

    • Coordinate interaction with other Agile teams and stakeholders across the enterprise.

    • Help other Agile teams and conventional parts of the organization build effective communications and interactions with the Agile team.

    • Cause change that increases the productivity of the Agile team.

    Requirements

    • Prior experience working as a Scrum Master

    • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM)

    • Worked with SAFe or Scrum of Scrums

    • Experience in Agile Coaching/Mentoring.

    • Experience with Agile Planning Tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).

    This position is hybrid and requires someone local to the area in Madison, WI!

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00
