Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAT-RAN Test Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing satellite and cellular equipment, along with strong vendor and customer management skills. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing testing procedures, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee testing procedures for satellite and cellular equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

• Perform customer and internal end-to-end satellite and cellular tests.

• Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary equipment and services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing support and addressing inquiries throughout the testing process.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing procedures into broader project timelines and deliverables.

Essential Skills

• Proven hands-on experience in testing satellite and cellular equipment, including familiarity with relevant testing methodologies and tools.

• Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to effectively oversee vendor relationships.

• Exceptional customer management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and support.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hardware testing.

• Minimum 2 years' experience with customer support.

• Knowledgeable of Satcom systems for connectivity and communications.

• Familiar with testing tools such as Spectrum analyzer, Network Analyzer, and signal generators.

• Experience with Linux and Windows terminals as well as cellular debugging tools (Putty, SSH, RDP, QxDM, XCAL).

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in Midland, TX, within a manufacturing and testing environment. The position offers a direct opportunity with a leading satellite company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $83000.00

Company will pay relocation, stipend, potential stock for candidates to relocate to Midland, TX. This will be a traveling role so there are extra perks when asked to travel in the US. Client offers full health benefits but not 401K match at this time.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas,TX.
