    Join Our Team as an IT SAP Basis Administrator!

    Are you passionate about ensuring the seamless operation of ground breaking IT systems? At Colgate-Palmolive's Enterprise Service Center (ESC), we're looking for a dynamic IT SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll use your expertise in SAP and databases like HANA, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, MaxDB, and open-source databases to manage and support our production SAP and application environment.

    Innovate and Optimize: Install new systems and manage end-to-end upgrades, refreshes, patches, and maintenance to keep our infrastructure at peak performance.

    Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with a dedicated team, applying your excellent communication and documentation skills to ensure smooth operations.

    Flexibility and Dedication: Be ready to step up when needed, including nights and weekends, to ensure our systems are always running efficiently.

    What you'll do

    • Meet with super users, management, and technical personnel to translate business requirements into hardware requirements and provide solution recommendations, ensuring delivered solutions meet business needs.

    • Help develop and deliver system requirements, documentation, and diagrams, while keeping up to date with industry changes and new products through training.

    • Install, configure, and support systems and components across the SAP landscape, coordinating and implementing support packs, upgrades, patches, OSS notes, transports, system refreshes, and client copies.

    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring, applying corrective measures and tuning as needed, and troubleshoots and diagnose all system and end-user issues as they arise.

    • Work closely with other SAP and IT team members, as well as vendors, to implement system improvements and interfaces, while following all policies and standards and performing other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • At least 4 years of IT experience

    • At least 2 year experience with SAP Basis support

    • Basic OS knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux and Windows

    • Basic knowledge of relational databases such as DB2/Oracle/HANA/MS SQL

    • Good understanding of Infrastructure Automation tools

    • Exposure to GCP cloud

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree with Concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

    Compensation and Benefits

    Salary Range $101,500.00 - $119,700.00 USD

    Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

    Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

    • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

    • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

    • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

    • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

    • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

    • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
