    COMPENSATION
    Minimum and maximum projected salary - $90,000-$110,000 annual salary; Healthcare benefits are available for this role.

    The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. We help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. We partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and we collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research.     POSITION OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking a Salesforce Specialist to manage and optimize our Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Health Cloud environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our Salesforce instance is tailored to our organization, supporting vital data integration, donor management, and health-related data. The Salesforce Specialist will work closely with our Director of Engineering and Integration Developer/Data Engineer to implement solutions that drive our mission forward.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Salesforce Platform Management
    • Salesforce Configuration: Manage and optimize Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Health Cloud, tailoring configurations to support business needs and user requirements.
    • Prior experience in healthcare workflows, tools, frameworks in patient data management, care coordination, or population health.
    • Data Integration cross-cloud/cross-platform: Collaborate with the Integration Developer to integrate Salesforce data with other applications and platforms including AWS and GCP, ensuring seamless data flow across all systems.
    • Customization & Development: Implement and support custom objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, and other Salesforce features to improve operational efficiency and data accessibility.
    • User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of Salesforce tools and best practices.
    Technical Proficiency
    • Lightning and Visualforce: Utilize Lightning client/server-side (javascript/Apex) and/or Visualforce/Apex as needed for custom development, scalability and best practices.
    • Data Management: Oversee data quality within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
    • API Management: Work with REST and SOAP APIs to support integrations with other platforms, enabling Salesforce to function as part of a cohesive digital ecosystem.
    • Familiarity with iPaaS for Salesforce data integration workflows, as well as experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau and SF Einstein Analytics) highly desirable.
    • Experience integrating with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts).
    • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance (e.g. HIPAA) with data governance policies.
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript for custom scripting, API integrations, and troubleshooting is also valuable.
    Collaboration Requirements
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Systems/Platform Engineering and other team members to align Salesforce solutions with broader digital strategies.
    • Project management lead for multiple Salesforce-related projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals, is essential. Agile or other PM methodologies involving cross-functional collaboration on iterative development cycles.
    • Experience engaging with technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements, define project scope, and report progress effectively is required.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation on Salesforce configurations, workflows, and best practices; provide regular reports on system performance and usage.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud / CRM environments.
    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).
    • Experience with data integration, including working knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and iPaaS solutions.
    • AWS-certified experience preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with healthcare and non-profit environments is a plus.
    SALARY RANGE:

    Competitive non-profit salary, typically ranging from $90,000 - $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
