Philips' new VeriSight 3D ICE catheter is redefining how Structural Heart and Electrophysiology procedures can be done. The first 3D ICE catheter to miniaturize the same 3D imaging technology that powers TEE, VeriSight offers best-in-class 2D and 3D imaging.
Within Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices, we've built an entirely new sales Team to commercialize Philips' groundbreaking new 3D ICE catheter and we are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to build and lead a region comprised of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
Your role:
Philips is looking for a successful and highly driven Regional Sales Manager that can work cross-functionally and collaboratively across Philips Business Units. You are responsible for managing / leading / coaching a clear strategic direction, sales process, and goal attainment in 'building the market' for ICE for the assigned Regional Team, consisting of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
A 'Cultural Champion' - servant leader mindset, positive and forward-thinking, clinically oriented. Individual should possess commercialization drive with a measurable track record of delivery and success in past roles.
Lead sales performance, growth, and coach-to clinical selling excellence goals across multiple territories constituting the region, in support of overall company objectives. Coaching-to measurable criteria and sales process, lean-forward leadership in the field for achievement of goals, sustained people coaching and culture enhancement, regional forecasting, inspection-of and actionable coaching with regional trends and analytics, upholding administrative excellence and policies, and managing budget.
Reporting to the Zone Vice President, the Regional Sales Manager owns all aspects of sales process and clinical coaching across direct reports, leads at the front by example, exemplifies company shared values, while guiding the region and working cross-functionally with other internal Philips partners to synergize sales efforts, along with collaborative Philips company-wide engagement / representation to collectively serve the customer as 'One Philips.'
You're the right fit if:
5+ years of management experience, and/or progressive leadership development, in the medical device business preferably with a high aptitude for clinical coaching and new market launch environments.
Clinical sales experience within Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, Start-up Devices, Ultrasound, and/or Imaging preferred. Cardiac imaging experience (TEE and ICE); and an established network of key cardiology opinion leaders and industry relationships preferred.
Experience in high-growth opportunity markets, launching new technologies, understanding of the physician training process and hospital activation process with new technologies, contracting management processes, experience in leveraging a capital equipment existing install base to drive disposable device growth opportunities.
Measurable experience in coaching to performance, managing sales processes to goals, administrative policies and excellence with Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists; along with a passion to set the cultural course and hold vision with Authentic Leadership.
Experience with Therapy Awareness Outreach, HCP Education Initiatives, Fellowship Education initiatives, Clinical Application & Engagement, Physician training with new technologies, Launching new hospital programs with established clinical workflow.
Ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, and to give compelling presentations to a wide spectrum of audiences, both internally and externally.
Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience. An advanced degree preferred (ex: MS or MBA).
The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 70% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
You live within the region for this role, and near a major airport for travel within the region.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $277,000 to $351,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here (~~~/) .
