    Summary:

    The Sales Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top sales talent to drive the growth and success of our organization. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and extending offers. You will have a keen understanding of the sales landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. As a Sales Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sales team is equipped with the best professionals to achieve our strategic objectives.

    This individual should be able to communicate and work effectively with external service representatives and internal team members who possess a wide variety of backgrounds, personalities, and communication skills. This individual should be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment while maintaining a productive professional demeanor. This individual must be capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with other Race team members across teams and levels of our organization.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
    • Minimum of 21 years of age
    • Associate degree (A.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public relations or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field of study is preferred
    • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
    • A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
    • Minimum three to five years as a recruiter, agency experience will be considered, particularly with a heavy focus on sales positions
    • Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as CalJOBS, ADP Workforce Now, JobTarget, LinkedIn, and Indeed
    • Experience in recruiting through educational institutions such as high school, community colleges and universities to attract and hire entry-level and specialized talent
    • Experience in corporate recruiting or community job placement and coaching
    • Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment with low turnover rates
    • Proven experience working with diverse communities and hiring from at-risk populations
    • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with local community outreach and partnerships with organizations like America’s Job Centers
    • Knowledge of and experience in applying HR and employment law to hiring and interviewing practices
    • Ability to travel extensively within our markets for job fairs and recruitment events, work overtime or off hours as needed
    • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
    • Proficiency in Spanish Language preferred

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Interviewing and Offers:

    • Conducts both virtual and in-person interviews with candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for sales roles
    • Extends verbal job offers to selected candidates, ensuring they understand the role and company expectations
    • Negotiates job offers and manages the offer process
    • Leads and facilitates group interviews to evaluate multiple candidates efficiently

    Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Management:

    • Builds and sustain a robust pipeline of potential candidates for various sales positions
    • Sources, attracts, and recruits top sales talent using various methods including job boards, and networking
    • Actively sources new candidates when the pipeline is slow to maintain a steady flow of potential hires
    • Collaborates with the HR Team and supports the candidate experience from application through onboarding, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience

    Job Fairs and Hiring Events:

    • Participates in and take the lead at job fairs and hiring events to engage with potential candidates
    • Represents the company at recruitment events and community outreach programs to attract talent

    Community Outreach and Partnerships:

    • Develops and sustains partnerships with local community organizations, one-stop centers, and America’s Job Centers
    • Conducts canvassing and community outreach activities to attract a diverse pool of candidates

    HR and Employment Law:

    • Utilizes knowledge of HR and employment laws to ensure all hiring and interviewing processes are compliant with legal standards
    • Maintains adherence to all relevant legal requirements throughout recruitment activities

    Diversity and Inclusion:

    • Actively works with diverse communities, focusing on hiring from at-risk populations
    • Supports and promotes the company's second chance employment initiatives, ensuring inclusive hiring practices

    Collaboration:

    • Partners with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, role requirements, and desired candidate profiles
    • Provides regular updates and reports to hiring managers on recruitment status, challenges, and strategies
    • Collaborates with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires

    Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Stays updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in recruitment
    • Develops and implements creative recruitment strategies to attract passive candidates
    • Stays informed about the latest developments in the sales industry to better understand the needs and profiles of sales professionals

    Employer Branding:

    • Promotes the company's brand as an employer of choice through various channels
    • Represents the company at job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities
    • Develops and maintains relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and professional associations

    Metrics and Reporting:

    • Provides weekly detailed recruitment reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
    • Ensures compliance with all legal and company policies regarding recruitment and hiring practices
    • Maintain and track data related to the retention and attrition of infield sales representatives to ensure alignment with established parameters and goals

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintains accurate and organized candidate records within ADP
    • Handles administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates
    • Ensures all recruitment activities are documented and compliant with internal policies and legal requirements

    Other duties as necessary may include but are not limited to:

    • Successfully complete assigned training and examinations, as well as participate in ongoing performance and development reviews, and goal setting

    • Be available to participate in internal or external meetings, special functions, and professional development opportunities

    • Cross-train and share knowledge with other team members

    • Support routine tasks

    All new employees will participate in the mandatory 'Speedway to Success' (Speedway) orientation at one our offices located in either Tehachapi, Yuba City, Chico, or South San Francisco, CA. The duration of the Speedway program spans from 1-3 weeks, depending on the position. During Speedway the schedule will vary; you may not work full 8-hour days and there may be off days.
