RN Lead Interventional Radiology

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team. The Lead RN will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of our Interventional Radiology unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

What You Can Expect: Conduct ongoing education for nursing staff, delivering direct patient care and while working closley with

• Clinical Leadership: Mentor nursing staff in the Interventional Radiology department, providing guidance and support in clinical procedures and patient care.

• Patient Care: Deliver direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure care.

• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

• Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize workflow.

• Education and Training: Conduct ongoing education and training sessions for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Associates of Nursing Degree/Diploma

• Experience: 3 years' experience

• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
