As a Senior Product Associate in Payments Billing and Revenue Optimization, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product management and revenue optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to ensure accurate client billing, develop innovative billing assurance tools and continuously improve existing billing and revenue channels. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product offerings and ongoing revenue generation strategy.
Job responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop new product billing opportunities that align with customer needs and market trends through comprehensive user research and discovery.
Assess and plan for the internal and external impacts of new product features on the overall product experience.
Support the collection and analysis of user research, journey mapping, and market insights to inform the strategic product roadmap and identify valuable product features for customers.
Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality targets throughout the product development lifecycle.
Develop detailed requirements, epics, and user stories to guide product development.
Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned deliverables, including presenting findings to senior leadership; Lead individual efforts in tactical and strategic billing enhancements and implementations; Develop and manage billing and revenue analytics to ensure accurate and comprehensive billing of products and services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
In-depth knowledge of the Merchant Acquiring industry, operating principles, and procedures.
Confidence in engaging and presenting to C-Level executives (written and verbal).
Extensive experience in analytical research related to problem-solving.
Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new topics, ask insightful questions, and present findings clearly in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite with a high emphasis in PowerPoint, Excel and other business-related database programs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, with 5+ years of experience in the Merchant Services Industry.
Analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to assess technical landscapes, recognize patterns and opportunities, and propose creative solutions. Contribute to business cases for proposed solutions, work with deadlines, and adapt to unexpected demands.
Understanding of legal and regulatory parameters related to billing, with a strong commitment to maintaining a robust controls environment. Identify revenue opportunities, key risks, and mitigants to those risks.
