The Revenue Cycle Technical Operations Analyst (TOA), Intermediate will serve as primary contact for Revenue Cycle Security. The incumbent will manage incoming tickets in Service Now to triage to other team members and provision access according to operational policy. Team Member will be providing a time based service to various RCO customers.
The Technical Operations Analyst, Intermediate is responsible for managing system & operational support within Revenue Cycle Operations. Candidate will accomplish these objectives by employing Issue Resolution, Process Improvement, Project Management, Reporting, Quality Auditing, System Design/Configuration, Testing, Change Management and Technical Documentation methods. This individual will serve as a supportive liaison between the operational teams and HIT teams. Potential applicants should have excellent customer service, interpersonal and issue management skills. Effective written/verbal communication, from both a technical and operational perspective, contributing to the overall team's mission.
Technical Operations:
Demonstrates active technical proficiency in Revenue Cycle EPIC applications: systems analysis and associated programming/configuration activities resulting in the ability to solve problems, while taking into consideration software and workflow limitations.
Serves as supportive contact between EPIC Build Team, Health System IT and Revenue Cycle Operations.
Consider and reconcile operational needs with software capabilities to identify and implement the most appropriate software, hardware and/or process-based solution, in collaboration with Revenue Cycle Technical Operations Analyst, Senior.
Serves as a SME role for multiple project teams. Seeks out direction/mentorship from senior team members.
Analyzes user, system and application needs and implements optimal solution(s) to meet department operational needs.
Consults with Revenue Cycle Technical Operations Analyst, Senior to make timely, effective decisions using independent judgement and discretion that will have a business unit and potentially organization-wide impact (within the appropriate guidelines as defined by leadership).
Performs quality audit functions for Revenue Cycle Operational application areas.
Develop and design reporting to measure performance of claims/remittance processes and operationally driven components of EPIC, such as Insurance Plans, Transaction Codes and Cash Management.
Learn and provide data driven consultation to Revenue Cycle Operational leadership regarding technical operational performance.
Supports RCO Security functions relative to providing or obtaining access to Revenue Cycle owned websites, portals, and applications, as well as, hardware deployment.
Engages with senior team members to develop Revenue Cycle ServiceNow functions to include: templates, reporting, dashboards, ticket assignment, service level agreements and functionality enhancements.
Maintains technical specifications for all areas of responsibility to include change log.
Demonstrates accountability for self-development by completing independent training and attending on-going in-service training. Pursue on-going training/guidance from senior team members.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for Revenue Cycle systems and support.
Continuous Process Improvement:
Seek out creative tools and methods to ensure systems and operational support are performing at optimal levels, provide stakeholders with technical resources and documentation.
Bring continuous process improvement tools, methods, training, and coaching to the organization to support our drive toward operational excellence.
Support risk mitigation strategies include evaluation of alternate solutions and development of contingency plans.

Position Compensation Range: $24.24 - $38.78 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on claim/remittance management experience in all aspects of EDI Management and concurrent healthcare (Revenue Cycle/Finance) experience to include, at least 1 year of data mining/business analysis in a large, academic medical center or equivalent environment of exposure to complex healthcare organizations required. EPIC experience preferred.
Licensure: EPIC Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date. HFMA Certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
