  • Job Title: Restock/Fluid Technician (3rd shift)

    Job Description

    The Restock/Fluid Technician is responsible for restocking supplies at an industrial site in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves replenishing small supplies such as gloves, hardware, towels, safety PPE, and tools. This position also requires maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the area, assisting test technicians, and ensuring the site remains well-stocked. The technician will manage 13 test cells and a tool room, requiring significant walking and the ability to work in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Refill nitrogen tanks (training provided).

    • Refill and restock supplies such as rags, paper towels, filters, gloves, masks, small parts, and tools.

    • Change oil drums on racks (requires ability to move large heavy drums).

    • Drain oil using a pump.

    • Clean, organize, and 5S the test cells.

    • Clean the tool room using dust rags and basic cleaning solutions.

    • Organize and categorize parts and products dropped off in the tool room.

    • Order supplies using an iPad or computer from the tool crib.

    • Check and verify dates on chemicals and solvents in the test cells.

    • Use SAP for ordering supplies.

    • Use a phone to call in work orders.

    • Complete paperwork as needed.

    • Ensure the area looks clean and well-maintained.

    Essential Skills

    • Experience in assembly, stocking, restocking, and cleaning.

    • Ability to handle oil changes and lifting heavy items.

    • Proficiency with hand tools and computer skills for ordering supplies.

    • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and construction skills.

    • Basic documentation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • At least 6 months of experience in an industrial setting, such as a warehouse, production facility, or construction site.

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

    • Comfortable working in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments.

    • Ability to walk and stand for 90% of the day.

    • Basic computer skills.

    • Ability and willingness to interact with customers.

    • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.

    Work Environment

    The position operates on the 3rd shift from 12 AM to 8:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The work environment involves significant walking or standing (90% of the day) and requires the ability to handle both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas. The shop can be dirty, and some tasks may involve getting hands dirty.
