    BASIC PURPOSE: The Restaurant Training Specialist is responsible for the strategic delivery and implementation of comprehensive training systems across all Branded Concepts, including but not limited to Arby's, Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Taco John's, Bojangles, Subway, Godfather's, Naf Naf Grill, Chester's, and other current or future franchise brands under the company's portfolio. This role will oversee the development, maintenance, updates and communication of training manuals, resources, and documentation to ensure all training materials are effective, aligned with brand standards, and support operational excellence. All training initiatives updates and changes, the Restaurant Training Specialist will provide critical guidance to Area Food Managers and Brand Champions to facilitate seamless program rollouts while upholding company standards. This role requires engagement in multiple training formats, including classroom sessions, meetings, webinars, and digital learning platforms. Additionally, this position operates with indirect accountability to the Field Senior Managers of Food Service and the Director of Food Service, ensuring cohesive alignment with field operations and corporate directives.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all branded training programs and company operational protocols, ensuring they are effectively implemented across the organization.

    • Design, update, and maintain branded training materials, procedure manuals, and other documentation to reflect current best practices and operational standards.

    • Organize and facilitate meetings to address new training requests, providing insights and structure to ensure alignment with company objectives

    • Assess the impact and effectiveness of branded training programs by comparing results to corporate performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    • Create and manage a metrics program to evaluate and monitor store/restaurant performance, reinforcing follow-up and accountability to drive continuous improvement.

    • Regularly review field systems training procedures and initiatives to identify opportunities for enhancement and alignment with best practices.

    • Act as a knowledgeable resource for branded/QSR partner concepts, addressing training-related inquiries and resolving issues efficiently to support operational success.

    • Support the training function by completing various technical and administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth program execution.

    • Maintain a strong partnership with the Talent Development team to ensure that training initiatives are in line with Love's standards and expectations.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Education:

    • HS Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Experience:

    • Previous experience in the food or restaurant industry (3+ years), with a strong understanding of operational standards and practices

    • Proven experience delivering training programs in a corporate environment

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from introduction through to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.

    • Demonstrates strong customer service with well-developed active listening skills.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

    • Track record of success in fast-paced, team-oriented environments, where collaboration and adaptability are essential.

    • Skilled in assessing situations to determine when to escalate issues and when to address them independently.

    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping

    • Occasional lifting to 25 pounds

    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator

    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision

    • Must be available to travel: occasional travel is expected for the position, travel maybe local or out of state, and some overnight travel will be required.
