  • Job Description

    - Working within EPIC

    - Rheumatology group: 7 providers, 30-60 accounts/day

    - Current expectation is 6-7 charts/hour

    - Responsible for translating details from a patient's medical documents into medical codes to ensure the patient's records are accurate. These documents may include physician's notes, lab reports, procedures, diagnoses, or equipment.

    - Will be a part of a specialties coding group: Rheumatology, Neuro, Behavioral Health, etc.

    Skills and Requirements

    - Hospitalist coding experience

    - Infusions/injections coding experience

    - Inpatient and outpatient or office visit billing and coding experience

    - Active professional coding certification CPC, CCS, RHIT, etc

    - Epic experience* null
