General Summary
Reliability Engineer ensures that Rochester Electronics delivered parts are reliable in field use. This individual is a part of the Reliability Lab Test Department and will be responsible for generating reliability qualification stress plans detailing qualification stress requirements and issuing final test reports summarizing reliability stress results and disposition.
Responsibilities
Ensures reliability stress tests are performed in compliance with the applicable qualification plans and industry standard test methods.

8D problem analysis
Qualifications
BSEE, BSME, BSCE degree or equivalent engineering degree.
Recent college graduates may be considered.
Familiar with JEDEC, AEC Automotive and Mil Standard reliability test methods and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable of semiconductor and packaging reliability failure mechanisms and governing acceleration models.
Knowledgeable of ESD failure modes and device handling precautions
Familiar with Weibull distribution plotting and analysis.
Technical report writing.
8D problem analysis.
Familiarity with JMP or Minitab analysis software a plus.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Basic computer skills with an understanding of Microsoft Office® software suite.
