Job Description
As a member of CIBCs team, Project Delivery team Release Manager is a professional responsible for managing multiple fast-paced Releases end to end from requirement to deployment and warranty support for Distribution Technology Delivery team The role has the below responsibilities:
Coordinate release schedules and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Operations.
Develop and maintain release plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Manage and deliver on the execution of the release management, including version control, change management, and release documentation.
Perform release readiness reviews, ensuring that all necessary criteria are met before deployment.
Manage the deployment process, including release artifacts , communication plans, and post-deployment monitoring partnering with Technology Delivery leads and Project Manager
Continuously improve release processes through automation, optimization, and feedback loops.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, providing updates on release progress and resolving any issues or concerns.
Promote an efficient agile release management.

Relationship Management Work closely with Technology and Business stakeholders to develop, test, and implement
People Leadership Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
Agile Mindset Track and analyze operating environment for Releases and and implement agile practices for efficient delivery in a fast-paced and high performing environment. Work with Technology and Business partners to determine, negotiate, and manage releases to the agreed approaches.
Who you are
You can demonstrate
Experience in Release Management, preferably in Banking Industry with Project Delivery experience and Scrum Master experience ( 5+ years)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field,

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years PM and scrum master experience
-Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
