    About the role

    As a CBRE Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and continuous improvement of the corporate compliance program. This job is part of the Legal Compliance job function. They are responsible for leading all aspects of regulatory compliance that balances business and compliance solutions to advise the company of options and risks.

    What you'll do

    • Manage global compliance efforts of a department or line of business. Ensure quality while mitigating risk to our clients and company.

    • Recognize and apply corporate and industry standards to the business.

    • Work with departmental management to identify and prioritize roll outs of a risk assessment program.

    • Coordinate and conduct investigations. Explain and defend findings. Draft investigation reports and provide recommendations and corrective action to leadership.

    • Assist with the development, and roll out functional policies, procedures, and processes. Confirm all follow acceptable practices and relevant external regulations globally. Be guided by policies and department plans. Evaluate risk in certain compliance areas across assigned businesses. Counsel business on the assessment process and educate on exposure. Identify gaps in and provide remediation of compliance policy and procedures.

    • Maintain and update departmental policies & procedures manual and forms.

    • Identify and recommend training based on business needs and company initiatives. Conduct live trainings to broad audiences and build communications that integrate media resources and leverages existing procedure.

    • Support program assessment and audit efforts. Develop audit templates and manage calendar, progress, and assign resources.

    • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Be responsible for the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

    • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    • Apply knowledge of own subject area and integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    What you'll need

    Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

    Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive approach.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regulatory Compliance Manager position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Regulatory Compliance Manager position is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
