    Overview

    We are looking for a Regulatory Analyst Senior to join our team. This position reports to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and is responsible for discovery, research, and financial analysis of legislative and regulatory changes impacting provider reimbursement for governmental programs proposed and enacted by Congress, the Center for Medical and Medicaid Services. This role will investigate reimbursement policy for all new and existing provider types. The Senior Regulatory Analyst will provide ongoing investigation and feedback on issues impacting special reimbursement such as disproportionate share, bad debt and capital.

    About You

    This position is for a person who likes to research regulatory affairs related to healthcare industry and make recommendations for changes that impact provider reimbursements for governmental programs.

    • Knowledge hospice operations, state and federal regulations and compliance

    • Strong regulatory affairs and governance requirements for healthcare

    • Through knowledge state and local guidelines governing regulatory processes for healthcare

    • Confident to work independently

    • Ability to communicate clearly

    • Effective time management skills

    • Shares information with team to improve overall team performance

    • Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills

    • Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications

    • Quick to learn and apply new knowledge

    • Effectively processes and integrates time-sensitive information from multiple sources

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Healthcare Management or related study; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

    • 3-5 years regulatory affairs, compliance or similar experience

    • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement with emphasis on governmental cost reporting in a home health/hospice setting

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Healthcare Management or related study; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

    • 3-5 years regulatory affairs, compliance or similar experience

    • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement with emphasis on governmental cost reporting in a home health/hospice setting
