    Fairview Lakes Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool Birthplace. Our team of nurses are trained to provide exceptional family-centered care throughout several units in the hospital. Each nurse is required to float to: Med/Surg, Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum. Fairview Lakes Medical Center provides award-winning care to the communities northeast of the Twin Cities. We are a Level IV trauma center, providing life-saving treatment to the seriously ill and injured 24 hours a day. Specialty services are available on-site in heart care, cancer care, childbirth, orthopedics, pediatrics and more.

    About this position: Float Pool Birthplace/Med/Surg

    • RN will float to the Birthplace and Med/Surg

    • .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 weeks)

    • 12 hour shifts, Night Shifts (7pm - 7am)

    • Every third weekend and holiday hours

    Responsibilities Job Description

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

    Qualifications

    Med/Surg Required:

    • Current MN RN Licensure in good standing

    • Med/Surg RN experience

    • NRP Certification for lessons 1-4 and 9 completed within 60 days of start date

    • BLS certification for a healthcare providers

    Preferred:

    • BSN degree
