    Job Description

    We are seeking a Registered Nurse who performs comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of maternal and newborn care needs, including psychosocial, physical, educational, cultural, and spiritual aspects. The role involves pain management, developing individualized care plans, medication administration, and comprehensive patient care across various stages such as Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care. The nurse will also educate patients and families, document care processes, ensure safe patient transfer, and maintain required competencies.

    Hard Skills

    • Current licensure in the state of Connecticut

    • ACLS certification

    • NRP certification

    • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

    • Electric Fetal Monitoring Certification

    • Labor and delivery experience

    This is a contract position with a duration of 13 Week(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in the Hartford County

    Work Environment

    Night Shift. Positions available include: RN - nights 36 hrs/week - 12 hr shifts 7p-7:30a every other weekend, potentially every 3rd weekend depending on current staff.
