    Job Title: Regional Leader of Digital Offerings, Large Project Pursuits and Customer Relationship Engagement

    Reporting to the Regional Vice President & General Manager, Trane is hiring a Regional Sales Leader for the Upper Midwest Region (Greater Chicago Area, Central IL, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota). This position will be responsible to drive our digital offerings, oversee large project pursuits, possess strong controls experience, and manage customer relationships within the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering on these responsibilities in previous roles. This role will help ensure our long-term growth and success by developing strategic partnerships with customers and other key external stakeholders. As a member of the Regional Leadership team, you will work in a matrix organization with Area General Managers and Sales Leaders to define go to market strategies which align to the region direction.

    Where is the work:

    This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Willowbrook location.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Digital Offerings Leadership:

    2. Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy for digital offerings to drive growth and innovation.

    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and customer needs, aligning digital solutions accordingly.

    4. Drive the implementation and adoption of digital tools and technologies in the region.

    5. Large Project Pursuits:

    6. Lead the pursuit of large-scale projects, including tendering, contractual negotiations, and project initiation.

    7. Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals and demonstrate the region's capabilities.

    8. Ensure the successful execution of large projects by providing guidance, oversight, and resource allocation.

    9. Controls Experience:

    10. Utilize strong controls experience to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal procedures.

    11. Oversee project controls, ensuring accurate forecasting, risk assessment, and cost control measures are in place.

    12. Develop and implement processes and systems to mitigate risks and maintain the highest quality standards.

    13. Customer Relationship Engagement:

    14. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

    15. Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers on digital offerings, tailored solutions, and project feasibility.

    16. Conduct regular customer reviews to assess satisfaction levels, resolve any issues, and identify opportunities for growth.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.

    • In-depth knowledge of digital offerings, project pursuits, controls, and customer engagement.

    • Strong leadership abilities with the skills to drive collaboration and manage cross-functional teams effectively.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and interact with customers at all levels.

    • Solid understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make decisive decisions.

    • Location: Candidate has the ability to work from our network of offices across (Chicago, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North/South Dakota)

    • Travel: The ability to travel across the region. Some overnight travel required (estimated at 25%)

    Base Compensation Range is $150,000 - $350,000/yr (This includes an annual bonus that is offered).
