  • JOB SUMMARY

    This position is working 9:30am- 6:00pm. This position will be working every third weekend.

    Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the Mission Statement and S.P.I.R.I.T. Values of Carroll Hospice and Carroll Hospital. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient intake process, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and managing the insurance verification and authorization process.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Preferred Associate's Degree
    • Preferred High School Diploma
    • 2-4 years At least 2-4 years' experience in health care preferable in hospice administration. Knowledge of hospice regulations, eligibility and private payer practices preferred. Required

    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

    Good communication skills; ability to work independently and as a team member. Efficient organizational and time management skills. Carroll Hospital is a minimal-lift facility which means that any moving or lifting of patients must be done with appropriate equipment and/or techniques taught through the Safe Lift program. Appropriate equipment or techniques must be used.
