    Pay Rate:

    The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

    What you'll be doing as a Recycling Sorter:

    • The Recycling Sorter is responsible for sorting and organizing recyclable materials for delivery to recycling centers.

    • Clean and maintain recycling yard and collection equipment

    • Safely remove chemicals from discarded appliances

    • Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place them on conveyor belts

    • Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales

    • Use machines to load items onto trucks for shipment to other recycling facilities

    Shift Timings: All Available

    Job requirements:

    • They must be able to identify different types of materials, such as paper, glass, plastic, and metal, and separate them for proper disposal

    • The Sorter must also be able to lift and carry heavy loads

    • Sort recyclable materials based on type, color, and other characteristics

    • Prepare recyclables for transport

    • Operate sorting machines and other equipment

    • Maintain cleanliness of recycling area

    • Keep accurate records of sorting activities

    • Background check required
