  • Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our client's team at our Burnaby, BC office for a temporary assignment of approximately 6 months. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Global Talent Acquisition team, with a focus on recruiting coordination and onboarding support for our client's Burnaby office.

    Responsibilities

    • Schedule virtual and in-person interviews, including travel accommodations, conference rooms, and candidate correspondence for corporate and outside sales roles within North America.

    • Assist recruiters with tasks such as posting jobs, reviewing resumes for basic requirements, and coordinating reference checks.

    • Support the new hire onboarding process, including coordinating new hire paperwork, taking badge photos, and generating employee files as needed.

    • Manage the contractor process for hourly temps in Operations, including onboarding/offboarding temps, handling new hire paperwork, maintaining correspondence between staffing agency and hiring manager, and updating the contractor spreadsheet.

    • Complete ad hoc projects such as updating job descriptions, employer branding tasks, preparing for career fairs, auditing new hire paperwork, and conducting staffing vendor audits.

    Essential Skills

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

    • 1+ years of recruiting coordination or administrative experience, including data management with accuracy and handling manual tasks.

    • Experience with MS Office, including Excel and Outlook.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with ATS systems (iCIMS preferred).

    • Strong customer focus and communication skills.

    • Self-starter eager to take on tasks.

    • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

    • Ability to exercise sound judgment and safeguard confidential information.

    • Eager to learn and quick to pick up new tasks.

    • Positive attitude and willingness to take on work.
