    The Opportunity: Recovery Coach, Behavioral Health Services

    Full-time, Hybrid

    Pay: Starting salary of $43,000-46,000/ year

    As a Recovery Coach, you'll have a dynamic and critical providing peer-to-peer services in the community and at our extended care facilities. The Recovery Coach will also find and participate in the development of community resources; provide coaching and support recoverees in directing their own recovery, staff training, and liaison with the management of assigned sites as needed.

    This role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You'll bring the following qualifications:

    • A High School Diploma, or equivalent
    • Lived experience with 2 years minimum in recovery
    • Completion of the CCAR training with the intention of completing courses necessary for licensure
    • Experience in the human services field and residential settings, providing strengths-based coaching and recovery orientated relationship building
    • Excellent written and communication skills and experience with technology

    Some of your critical responsibilities:

    • Maintain an active billable caseload of thirty (30) hours per week on average (calculated quarterly minimum). Five minimum contacts per month with each assigned client.
    • Participate in planning and developing of Recovery Wellness Plans.
    • Deliver coaching services at assigned sites ensuring that services follow professional standards.
    • Advocate and be a liason to extended care facilities in order to maintain and expand relationships to these programs whenever possible.
    • Maintain records according to VOA Policies and Procedures, completing all documentation and billing in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with external referrals sources in order to build and maintain target caseload.
    • Provides other services as may be requested.
