Receptionist

Description We are offering a contract for a Receptionist role in Wilmington, Delaware. The successful candidate will join our team in the medical industry, working on-site to support the smooth operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities

• Providing a welcoming environment for patients, greeting them warmly and directing them appropriately within the clinic.

• Managing a comprehensive scheduling system to coordinate patient appointments, tests, treatments, and surgeries.

• Ensuring patient insurance details are verified, correctly entered into the system, and that billing is processed accurately.

• Serving as the primary contact for patient inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, with an ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a patient-friendly manner.

• Upholding the confidentiality of patient documents and data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Performing administrative tasks including faxing, answering emails, photocopying, and sorting mail.

• Cooperating with medical staff, patients, and insurers to resolve any issues or barriers to care. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in a receptionist role or similar position

• Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Excellent email correspondence abilities

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for dealing with a diverse range of clients and co-workers

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience with organizing files and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment
