    Weatherford is seeking an experienced R&M Tech II to join our team. This hands-on role undertakes tasks utilizing our facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. The successful candidate will apply techniques and practices to complete the scope of tasks covering inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools, preparing them for their next assignment. Responsibilities span the entire process from receiving tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing using technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive, dismantle, repair, and refurbish field tools and equipment

    • Follow technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions

    • Inspect tools and equipment for issues and perform necessary maintenance and repairs

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with tools and equipment

    • Monitor equipment performance and conduct quality control analysis

    • Prepare tools and equipment for assembly, repair, or modifications

    • React effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery

    • Visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications

    Requirements

    • 0-2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry

    • Ability to work with hazardous materials, radioactive elements & explosives, and awareness of NDT, NDE, and ATEX policies & principles

    • Capability to diagnose issues and problems with tools/equipment

    • Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment

    • Critical thinking, active learning & listening, and complex problem-solving skills

    • Strong reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making abilities to align with policies & procedures

    • Quality control analysis to ensure products meet required standards

    • Information & task ordering skills, and ability to identify and understand potential problems and solutions

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
