Quality Technician

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Block Repair/Technical Services Repair department supporting the team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Red Wing, MN

Pay Range: $28 to $36 per hour depending upon experience

Duration: 4 month contract

Shift: 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm.

What's the Job?

• Inspect and repair defective or damaged safety blocks.

• Visually examine returned block for damage.

• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

• Repair or replace defective parts.

What's Needed?

• H.S. Diploma/GED, or higher

• 2 years experience with blueprints and repair diagrams as an assembly aid

• Trained and signed off on the ability to repair 6 block styles; completed OJT forms

• 1 year experience in Block Repair/Technical Services Repair department

• Ability to perform the essential functions (EFA) of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation. EFA's are available upon request.
