Hello, NOW HIRING- DIRECT HIRE Quality Assurance Technician A food manufacturing company in Mundelein, IL is currently looking for an experienced Q.A tech. This position is responsible for determining the basic quality of product and referring questionable situations

• Checks quality of products according to specifications

• Preforms line checks

• Testing on material to make sure no leaks/holes

• monitoring process controls for food safety & GMP compliance.

• Contact Swabbing of material

• log / File paperwork/ Computer work- Report findings

• Basic computer skills

• Inventory checks/confirmations

• Handle returns and customer complaints

• GMP environment

Direct hire, on 1st & 2nd shift, Monday - Friday + Over Time. $20-25 per hour. - interview based position. In Mundelein, IL. Experience & update Resume required to . Text me if you or anyone is interested ~~~

Responsibilities

• Performing day-to-day production floor activities as assigned by the QA supervisor and lead, monitoring process controls for food safety & GMP compliance.

• Daily quality checks in production that include regular defined frequency checks of food quality and safety control points with timely execution and precise document keeping.

• Responsible for coordinating lab testing needs & activities, sample collection and facilitation of test and hold requirements once results are received.

• Responsible for product release activities after reviewing critical control point information in reference to cooking and chilling CCPs.

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure compliance with regulatory, policies and procedures, company and customer expectations as related to the receiving of raw materials, and production process, process controls, and packaging of finished goods.

• Performs other duties as assigned

The essential functions of this role include
