    The Quality Assurance Technician will develop quality plans and procedures, examine products and materials, and verify that customer quality standards are being met.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates high attention to detail while performing inspections, testing, and documentation to internal quality standards.
    • Performs receiving inspections of incoming parts; coordinates with procurement and suppliers on suspected nonconforming product.
    • Conducts in-depth manufacturing quality inspections, before signing off and approving the final product.
    • Uses hand tool for measuring such as calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, pin gauges.
    • Performs tracking calibrated equipment, government property, required FOD inspections and other support processes.
    • Assists in segregation and disposition of nonconforming material and processing scrap.
    • Assists with company QMS and audits.
    • Audits and reviews quality data according to existing procedures.
    • Implements company and regulatory quality standards for product manufacturing.
    • Regular lifting 40 pounds at a time.

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two years relevant experience and/or an equivalent combination of experience and relevant post-secondary education
    • Knowledge of IPC-610/620 workmanship standards is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of inspection and validation techniques
    • Ability to read and understand drawings, build instructions and requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player
    • Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9102
