    The Job You Will Perform:

    • Ensure test equipment accuracy and maintain in working condition.

    • Maintaining ISO 9001 certification

    • Participate in internal and external audits including mill, GCF, and customer audits

    • Customers - interacts on customer complaints, concerns, samples, COAs visits and will be the direct link with all CTS managers on field issues.

    • Specifications/Trials/Quality - Maintains and creates grade specifications, coordinates trials in the mill/and responsible for the day to day quality of roll stock leaving the mill, & maintains quality alerts

    • Finished Products - Must have a strong relationship with FP management team, will coordinate trial work with quality, disposition non A-1 roll stock and give direction to FP team on any and all issues

    • Complaint and credit statistics reporting, month-end and quarterly quality reports, project department monetary needs, lab equipment reliability and accuracy

    • Support product innovation efforts, trials, projects and commercialization

    • Interface with the Lead Team, production departments, GCF business units, CTS representatives and customers regarding quality

    • Fully utilize Vision Systems, QScope/iAuditor and Metal Detectors systems

    • Significantly reduce high and normal risk complaints

    • Monitor and ensure corrective and preventive actions implemented in response to complaints are effective and sustainable

    • Pest Control Administration

    • Work Closely with GCF Sustainability to ensure the Franklin Mill stays compliant with all certifications.

    • Manage two quality day testers

    The Skills You Will Bring:

    • Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of five years' paper industry experience

    • Candidates should have at least one year of previous supervisory experience with paper machines, customer service, or process engineering experience preferred

    • Strong computer knowledge and skills that include experience with Excel, Proficy, Pi, Parcview and Minitab

    • ISO 9001 experience preferred
